Recertification
NCS-Core
Nutanix Services is launching a new "recertification" policy to help demonstrate how you are continuously improving and increasing your service delivery skill set.

Effective August 1st, 2024, your NCS-Core certification will expire two years from the date you passed the exam.
Recertifying Options
Depending on your highest level of certification, you have multiple options for recertifying your NCS-Core certification for two more years.

NCS-Core v6

NCS Proficient Level Certification (different track)

NCS Advanced Level Certification (within the same track as Proficient)

Easing the Transition
We understand this is a change, so we are providing a 6-month grace period to make the transition easier. If your most recent NCS-Core certification is already expired (over two years old), then we will extend the expiration date until January 31st, 2025, for you to take any of the steps above to recertify and stay current.

Nutanix University offers several training courses that will help you prepare for your new certification:

Online training is always free through your Nutanix University account, and most courses can be completed within a few days. ​

Instructor-led training is available for anyone who prefers hands-on practice via a live lab environment.
